1. Can I purchase a gift voucher?

Yes, we have gift vouchers and spa vouchers. Gift vouchers are credit vouchers that can be used towards packages, individual treatments, and or products. Spa vouchers can only be used for the package as stated on the voucher. All our standard package vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. They will be sent to you as electronic vouchers via email. Should you require a physical voucher card, please arrange a collection at the nearest branch to you. Alternatively, you can quote the MV voucher number to redeem the voucher when making a reservation. Clients required to produce a voucher or fax vouchers when making a booking.

2. May I attend the spa if pregnant?

Yes, you may, if you are not within your first trimester. Please let your therapist know before the start of any of your treatments. You will also need to make a note of this, and any other medical condition, on your client evaluation card, prior to starting your treatments.

4. What time should I arrive for my Moonlight Night Spa?

The Moonlight Night Spa at the traditional spas starts at 18:30 pm at Mangwannai Sibaya, and at 17:30 pm at Mangwanani Winelands and Pivot. You are required to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand so that you have time to enjoy your light snacks on arrival, settle in, and change into your gown. 

5. What are the start and end times for the Moonlight Night Spa?

The Moonlight Night Spa at Mangwanani Winelands and Pivot starts at 17:50 pm and ends at 22:00 pm. The night spa at Mangwanani Sibaya starts at 18:30 pm and ends at 23:00 pm. 

6. What time should I arrive for my Hot Summer Night Spa at River Valley?

You need to be at Montecasino by 17:00 pm. The bus will leave at 17:15 pm. 

7. What are the start and end times for the Full Day Spa?

The Full Day Spa starts at 08:30 am and ends at 16:30 pm.

8. What time may I come for the Half Day Spa?

We have a morning session from 08:30 am – 12:00 pm and an afternoon session from 12:00 pm – 16:00 pm. You are required to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand so that you can change into your gown. 

9. What type of Half Day Spa packages are available at the traditional spas? 

The traditional spas, including Mangwanani The Pivot, at Montecasino, in Fourways, offers morning and afternoon half-day spa packages. The morning sessions include breakfast, whereas the afternoon sessions come with lunch with desserts. 

10. May I choose the sequence of my treatment?

Unfortunately not, as your treatment sequence is automatically generated on our system, and we have to accommodate all spa guests.

11. How many treatments are included with a Full Day Spa Package?

There are six treatments included in this package.

15. What must I bring along with me?

Your bathing costume to wear under your gown if you prefer this to underwear. Either is acceptable. Upon arrival, you will be given a gown and slippers to change into

16. What happened to my vouchers that expired during the lockdown period?

We understand that many could not use their vouchers during the lockdown, and we want you to enjoy your spa experience. Therefore, all vouchers that expired during the lockdown as well as all Easter and lockdown vouchers will expire at the end of February 2021. Note that all discounted, special offer vouchers including the Easter and Lockdown vouchers exclude December and January as well as all public holidays and special occasions such as Valentine’s Day.  

17. Can I extend and upgrade my voucher?

Yes, you can upgrade and extend your voucher before they expire then you can use these throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays. To do this the cost for any full day spa is R300 per voucher and R200 for any night spa or half-day spa package. Just call 0878090055 and an agent will assist you. 

18. How did the buy one get one free Easter voucher sale worked?

During Easter 2020, a buy one, get one free voucher sale was held. During this offer, you could have brought a midweek full-day spa voucher for R1450 and receive the second voucher from us. The same would apply to weekend full day spa voucher etc. If on your confirmation the amount paid is half of the full value of the voucher it meant you did not pay the full amount, therefore did not qualify for the free voucher. 19. What different types of Mangwanani Spas are there?

Mangwanani as traditional, boutique, kids, high tea rooms, corporate and mobile spas available. Mangwanani’s traditional African spas are for instance Mangwanani River Valley, Sibaya, and Winelands. These spas, including Mangwanani The Pivot, offer a full-day spa, half-day spa, and or night spa packages.
