Dear Mangwanani Friends and Family
As we take notice of the crisis with the developments to curb the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic from escalating, it is with compassion and love that I share this message with you.
Mangwanani, as a family that strives to empower women from previously disadvantaged pasts, we are devoted to the safety of our staff and You, our clients alike. We believe that the decision that President Cyril Ramaphosa has made was the right thing to do. We support the lock down efforts and will be closing our spas from close of business on Thursday until the 17th April (21days). We depend on you, our clients, for survival and we will still honour your booking after the 21 day lock down period if you have an existing booking with us. We will also be working remotely so will still be taking bookings for your much needed spa spoils after the lock down period has ended.
As we prepare for these measures and time of self-isolation, we also know that the remedy for fear is gratitude. We are grateful for all your love and support over the past 17 years of our history, the smiles and kindness you have given us and our therapists. I also believe that this is a time of great opportunity. Like hitting the reset button of how we treat each other, our interactions and how we move forward as a collective.
When faced with fear, anxiety and uncertainty coupled with a need for social distancing it is paradoxically a time where compassion and unity is needed most. As a family business our origins were not only born from a love of the healing arts but also to empower the women of our country. We understand that healing is not only on a physical level. Healing from the heart lies in the awareness that we are all one – We are in this Together.
All my love,
Erin Limbert (CEO of Mangwanani)
