1. Arrival Times for Self-Drive Guests

Please arrive at the spa by the following times:

  • Full Day / Morning Spa: No later than 08:30

  • Half Day Spa (Afternoon Session): No later than 11:45

  • Night Spa: No later than 18:00

2. Important Travel and Safety Information

Please do not use the R511 route when self-driving to Mangwanani River Valley.

The low-level water bridge on this route has been significantly damaged by flooding and is currently inaccessible.

For a safer journey, use Grey Street, Erasmia, which becomes Van Melle Street.

Please note that the final section of the journey includes gravel roads in a remote area. Drive cautiously, particularly if you are unfamiliar with rural roads.

Mangwanani River Valley is situated within a wildlife conservancy area. Although measures are in place to deter wildlife interactions, guests may encounter local animals.

3. Recommended Shuttle Service – Full Day Spa Guests

For a more relaxed and convenient journey, we highly recommend using the return shuttle service from The View – Fourways Mall.

  • Cost: R150 per person for the return transfer

  • Arrival at collection point: 07:00

  • Shuttle departure: 07:20 sharp

Parking Instructions

All shuttle guests must park at:

Level 3 – Undercover Parking, Entrance 16, The View – Fourways Mall

  1. Collect a parking ticket at the entrance boom.

  2. Hand your original parking ticket to the driver or hostess when boarding.

  3. You will receive a validated complimentary parking ticket for exiting the centre.

  4. Keep your validated exit ticket safe.

Please note that the original ticket must be handed in before a validated ticket can be issued.

Shuttle Collection Point – New Location

The shuttle collection point is near the Food Lovers Market entrance, at the turn circle in the outdoor open parking area at The View – Fourways Mall.

Please arrive by 07:00 to avoid missing the 07:20 departure.


4. Directions to Mangwanani River Valley

For GPS navigation, enter:

Grey Street, Erasmia, Centurion

From Johannesburg via the R55

  1. Take the R55 from Kyalami towards Laudium.

  2. Pass Zwartkops Race Course and turn left towards Erasmia.

  3. Continue through Erasmia, passing the BP garage on your left.

  4. Turn right into Grey Street, which becomes Van Melle Street.

  5. Continue straight through two traffic circles.

  6. The road becomes a gravel road towards the mountains.

  7. Pass the Dolomite Mine on your right.

  8. Cross the low-level Hennops River bridge.

  9. Pass Hoogland Health Hydro on your left.

  10. Cross the high-level Hennops River bridge.

  11. Continue for approximately 8.5 km from the second traffic circle.

  12. Mangwanani River Valley will be on your left at No. 43.

Important: If you reach the T-junction, you have gone too far. Turn back approximately 200 metres.

From Pretoria via the R55

  1. From the Krugersdorp Highway, take the Pretoria West/Sandton off-ramp.

  2. Turn right onto the R55 towards Pretoria West/Laudium, crossing over the highway.

  3. Continue past the traffic circle, Sunderland Ridge and Zwartkops Race Course.

  4. Turn left towards Erasmia.

  5. Continue through Erasmia, passing the BP garage on your left.

  6. Turn right at the Schurveberg sign, also indicating Hoogland Health Hydro.

  7. Continue straight through two traffic circles.

  8. Follow the gravel road towards the mountains.

  9. Pass the Dolomite Mine on your right and cross the low-level Hennops River bridge.

  10. Pass Hoogland Health Hydro on your left and cross the high-level Hennops River bridge.

  11. Continue for approximately 8.5 km from the second traffic circle.

  12. Mangwanani River Valley will be on your left at No. 43.
